Artikulation – le contesto. /Artikulation, I said.
Refregándose los ojos se para frente a la ventana que da al jardín y me pregunta: / Rubbing his eyes, he walked over to the window and stood looking out onto the garden. Then he asked me:
¿Y de dónde lo sacaste? / “Where did you get that?”
Lo bajé de internet. / Off the intenet.
¿Lo bajaste del emule? / “From eMule?”
No, lo bajé de Stockhausen, ese website alemán del que te hablé. / No, from Stockhausen. It’s that German site I told you about.
Luego se sirve una taza de café, levanta la cabeza, se despeja el flequillo con la mano y me dice: a ver… dejame ver… ¿todavía está el archivo en la computadora? / He went to pour himself a cup of coffee; he looked up and brushed the hair from his eyes. “I’d like to have a listen to that. Have you still got the file on the computer?”
Entonces abre la puerta y sale apurado / He opened the door and rushed out.
En silencio, lo observo atravesar el jardín rumbo a su estudio / I sat there silently watching him as he hurried across the garden to his studio.
